Conference Description

The Early-Stage Life Sciences Technology Conference is an opportunity for research institutions and recently formed Massachusetts companies to present their life sciences technologies to an audience of angel investors, venture capitalists and corporate investors.

In early May, over 20,000 people will be in Boston for BIO’s International Convention. A large number of MATTO research institutions will have exhibits in the Massachusetts Pavilion at this event and many of the posters in the Innovation Corridor will present technologies being developed by Massachusetts researchers. We hope to see you at BIO and that you will help us showcase our Life Sciences Super Cluster to the world.

Today’s conference will feature a keynote presentation by Dr Norman Letvin, Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Chief of the Division of Viral Pathogenesis at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. We are also pleased to be joined by Dr John Primeau who is Executive Director and Head of Infection Chemistry at AstraZeneca R&D Boston. These talks will both highlight important research work going on in the prevention and cure of infectious diseases and the growth of the Massachusetts cluster of companies specializing in this sector.
