Louisville, KY: The McConnell Technology & Training Center will be offering a free seminar titled "How to Buy a Personal Computer." The first seminar will be held January 15 at 7:00 at Iroquois Middle School. The public is invited. Other dates and times will be posted on the MTTC website at www.mttc.org.

The seminars will help consumers make the right decisions as they contemplate buying a personal computer just after the holidays. Bill Thompson, Director of Computer Technology Programs for MTTC, will present a 30-minute overview on the parts and specifications for computers, followed by a 30-minute question and answer session. Consumers will receive a checklist to help them determine the right computer specifications for their needs, as well as estimated costs for computers.
