Louisville, KY: The McConnell Technology & Training Center (MTTC) unveiled a new, state-of-the-art computer career training lab at their Technology Park (former Naval Ordnance) location.

The new lab contains new Dell Pentium IV, 2.66 Ghz computer systems complete with 17 inch flat-panel digital displays.

"We want to provide the best equipment for our students to train on so that they will be up to speed on all the latest technologies," explained Nancy Wheeler, Computer and Information Technology Instructor. "CompTIA [The Computing Technology Industry Association] updated their A+ Certification testing standards at the end of last year to include newer technology such as wireless and USB devices, and we wanted to stay ahead of the curve so that our students can too."

MTTC is a CompTIA-certified training provider offering hands-on computer career certification training for IT career-seekers. MTTC provides training in Louisville, Lexingon and other locations across the state.
