Louisville, KY: Innovative Productivity, Inc. (IPI), an independent research and development organization, has been selected by the US Navy’s Naval Sea Systems Command as part of a team to provide integrated support for surface and undersea warfare. The contract has a potential value of $33 Billion dollars over its 5 year base period and two 5 years option periods. IPI is on a team led by Alion Science and Technology of McLean, VA.
The SeaPort Enhanced Multiple Award Contract becomes effective April 5, 2004. The team will compete to provide support in 21 functional areas. IPI’s expertise in technology services will allow them to propose solutions for a specific Navy system. The Alion team won the opportunity to provide services to the eight Naval Surface Warfare Centers (NSWC) and Naval Undersea Warfare Centers (NUWC), located across the US.

Under the contract, IPI will bid to provide services and technologies to support the following types of programs and projects:

- Information System (IS) Development, Information Assurance (IA) & Information Technology (IT)
- Training
- In-Service Engineering, Fleet Introduction, Installation and Checkout
