Stratica Deck Tile
Problem: Current shipboard deck tile is not rugged and requires a continuous effort to keep clean and polished. This effort represents a huge daily drain on manpower and is a true sailor morale issue. Solution: Stratica is a commercially available decking material that is extremely tough and requires no waxing or buffing. Only daily damp mopping is required. MTTC, Navy and CES, Inc., developed and proofed the installation procedures that must be followed to ensure a quality product. NAVY POC:

Fleet Approval
U.S. Navy has issued a fleet wide release for the use of Stratica on Surface Ships and Submarines. As of 1/1/01, over 400,000 sq ft. had been installed by the Navy, with more every day. Support up to the Office of the SecNav.
