ISO 9001/2/3 Registrations in USA Continue to Grow
August, 2000: Registrations for
ISO 9001/2/3 throuhg mid-2000 are up 19% in the USA for a total of more than 32,000
certificates. Registrations to QS-9000 (automotive sector) are up 15% in the USA to more
than 5000 certificates, while AS9000 registrations (aerospace sector) are up almost 50% to
nearly 200 certificates.
The worldwide total of ISO 9001/9002/9003
certificates issued last year was 343,643. This was a 26.4% increase over the previous
year.
