ISO/TS 16949:2002 Internal Auditor Course Registration form
Course description: This eight-hour course is an intensive, fast paced course focused on conducting internal audits to assess compliance with ISO/TS 16949:2002 quality management system (QMS) requirements. This course is the perfect bridge for internal auditors trained to audit to QS-9000 (3rd Edition) requirements who are looking to understand the new requirements and acquire audit skills to reflect the process approach of ISO 9001:2000. There is a large focus on the appropriate use of the core tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, MSA and SPC) in an ISO/TS 16949 system. Our seasoned instructors guide you through the changes between the old and new standards, focusing on how they impact the organization and you as the auditor. Tools provided in the class will enable attendees to conduct a ‘mini gap analysis’ between their current documented system and ISO/TS 16949:2002 requirements. Case studies and class discussion will help you develop a hands-on understanding that will facilitate implementation of a good audit program. As is the case with the new standards themselves, course materials have been designed to be uniquely applicable to international automotive suppliers.
Benefits resulting from course completion: The skills and abilities learned will enable participants to plan, conduct and report results of internal quality audits in accordance with the requirements of ISO/TS 16949:2002. Attendees will also be provided with a copy of a detailed ISO/TS 16949:2002 requirements checklist and audit guide which they can use in their own organizations as an audit training tool, gap analysis tool, or internal audit tool. Attendees will return to their organization empowered with the knowledge and skill needed to contribute positively to their QMS through value added audits.
Who should attend: This course is for anyone responsible for conducting, managing or participating in internal audits to assess compliance with ISO/TS 16949:2002 requirements.
