ISO 9001:2000 Implementation Planning Workshop Registration form
Course description: This four-hour workshop introduces the concepts needed to understand and define a quality management system (QMS) that complies with principles, requirements and guidelines contained in the ISO 9000:2000 family of standards. In addition to a review of the key quality management principles contained in ISO 9000:2000, the workshop covers a review of the requirements contained in ISO 9001:2000 and the continual improvement guidelines contained in ISO 9004:2000. Through discussion and practical examples, the workshop focuses on new/changed requirements between ISO 9001/2:1994 and ISO 9001:2000 and relevant interpretations and suggestions for implementing compliant practices. A significant part of the workshop is devoted to developing a plan for defining, planning, organizing, scheduling and carrying out the activities necessary to implement/transition to an effective and ISO 9001:2000 compliant QMS.
Benefits resulting from course completion: Implementers are faced with a rapidly approaching deadline (12/03) to implement or transition to ISO 9001:2000. The knowledge gained from this workshop will enable participants to implement their QMS in an effective, efficient and timely manner. Attendees will identify the key implementation activities and practical solutions to the challenges most organizations will face during implementation/transition.
Who should attend: This workshop is for executives just wanting an overview of ‘what is new and different about ISO 9001:2000’ as well as for implementers just wanting to know some interpretations and practical ways of addressing new/changed requirements. The workshop should be of special interest to management representatives, quality managers, and ISO 9001:2000 implementation team members.
