Management Staff: Resources & Qualifications
Mike Paten
has over 25 years of operational and corporate level experience in quality
management and productivity improvement.
He has specialized in developing, assessing, and implementing ISO
9000 compliant quality management systems for industrial and engineering
activities, and most recently served as Director of Quality for an
engineering and industrial complex with 6500 employees.
Mike holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration, and has
helped design tools and processes to help small businesses assess,
develop, implement and improve their quality systems.
Mike is an RAB Certified QMS Auditor (RAB Certificate QS-A 05831),
and a member of the American Society for Quality.
Aimee Cecil has
over 7 years of progressively responsible experience in quality management
and process improvement activities. Aimee
has experience in developing and implementing quality management systems
and has helped several organizations achieve ISO/QS 9000 registration.
Aimee also has experience in planning and implementing Kaizen events, workforce
development programs, and other floor level continuous improvement
activities. Aimee holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration, has completed the RAB
Accredited Lead QMS Auditor Training Course, has applied for RAB QMS
Auditor certification, and is a member of the American Society for
Quality.
* Bob Abbott is an international quality management consultant
with over 35 years experience in the development and assessment of quality
management systems. Bob is a member
and founding secretary of the ANSI Accredited Standards Committee Z-1 on
Quality Assurance and a member of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group to ISO
Technical Committee 176 on Quality Management and Quality Assurance, the
developers and custodians of the ISO 9000 series standards. He is a
Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB) certified Quality Management System
Lead Auditor (RAB Certificate QS-LA 04452), a Fellow of the American
Society for Quality, and an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer. Bob is
also one of a handful of auditors in the U.S. that audits registrars for
the Registrar Accreditation Board.
* Mark Dean
has over 21 years experience in engineering, management, and the
leadership of large engineering and industrial organizations.
He is an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, an RAB Certified QMS
Auditor (RAB Certificate QS-A 05789), and a Senior member of the American
Society for Quality. Mark
holds Master's Degrees in Engineering, Management, and Psychology. He sat
on the Steering Committee for the QuBE process, Louisville's equivalent of
the Malcolm Baldrige Award, and has served as a Lead QuBE Evaluator.
A nationally recognized Quality Expert, Mark chaired the committee
which wrote the top level Quality Policy document for all Navy Weapons and
Combat Systems, applicable to over 20 major installations and over 50,000
people worldwide.
